I go to Beaune often, and try different hotels. Last trip, July '05, I spent 3 nights at the Hotel de la Cloche. I had one of four rooms facing the medieval garden, so was lucky. I was with a tour of teachers and this was the last town before returning to Paris. Beaune was the highlight of our trip and the hotel was charming. From it's beautiful garden to the rooms in the very old part of the building with the original stone walls, our stay was wonderful. Breakfasts were very good and the staff... more
