Useful hotel near railway station Continental breakfast was alright. Nearby busy railway line noisy especially goods trains at night - had to close window. Staircase area a bit jaded. Bed very comfortable. Rather expensive - probably due to convenient location and time of year.

This hotel has two names: ibis Dijon Gare and ibis Dijon Arquebuse‏, and it was not shown on the locale map in the railway station (which did show the Mercure tower next to the hotel). Basically, the hotel is on the other side of the railway station from the town centre - look for sortie to Avenue Albert 1er.

Close to Dijon Ville station, hotel can be seen from the main arrival platforms. Clean room with a very comfortable bed . Friendly staff who spoke good english. Good quality breakfast but limited choice of meats and cheeses. Did not like the loud music in the lifts.

As long as you leave the station from the south entrance, it is a short walk of a couple of minutes to the hotel and the route through the station provides an easy way to get to the city centre.
