The Hotel le Jura in Dijon is an easy walk straight out from the railroad station. The room was a good size and overlooked a courtyard with lots of trees. No a/c, but a great breeze. Advantages: A 90 second walk to the railway station, 10-15 minutes to the boutiques, Galeries Lafayette, most places of historical or architectural interest, and a choice of good restaurants in the area around Les Halles. This hotel is in desperate need for a renovation. It is more of a two star place. The rooms are tiny with no air-con. The location is good so it seems if you don't expect too much then you wont be disappointed. More

A pleasant stay with friendly staff who spoke English when asked (and my French had run out). The room was lovely - bit of a trek from reception. There is secure parking overnight for 10€ and the staff were happy for us to leave the car there the next day after checking out so that we could explore the city. More

Hotel is very close to the station which is handy, and you could also walk to the historic area of the city.
