Just returned from 4 nights at this hotel. A review from someone who travels widely worldwide. If you are expecting a modern chain hotel, then this is not the place for you. This hotel is a traditional old building familiar in most of Dijon - great location by the way. I stayed in a standard room on the second floor... More

Don't be fooled by the gorgeous pictures on their own and partner websites of beautifully decorated, boutique styled rooms that you might expect from a 'Exclusive' hotel claiming to have completed a renovation. We could have been in an Ibis. The carpet was filthy, the fitted furniture hideous, and the room was freezing cold and we couldn't work out how... More

We had a small but adequate room in this hotel for a couple of nights and we found the staff friendly and helpful and the location, although about 20 minutes walk from the station, was only a short walk from the historic centre of dijon. The carpets were pretty dirty but the bathroom was clean and the hotel had character.... More

We stayed at this hotel for 1 night in October on the way to Reims, the 3 rd floor room was dirty, cramped and airless. The room was nothing like the pictured rooms. The corridor from the lift looked like a condemned apartment block , filthly carpets and marked walls and was pitch black till the sensor turned the lights... More

We travelled to this hotel on 30th September and first impressions are okay. The Receptionist was quite helpful and we were booked in fairly quickly. We were taken to the lift and told our room number. On exiting the lift the corridor was in complete darkness. We had to grope around the walls to find a light switch whereupon you... More

Hi We stays there 2 nights in June 11. We were on the 3rd floor. The room was globally ok but the carpet was not that clean. Very small window. Those rooms would need to be renovated especially the bathroom. Positive point the air conditioning (it was 39 degrees those delays). Breakfast is pretty bad, go in any café instead. More

Arriving in Dijon we found the Phillipe le Bon quite easily not far off the Place de Wilson circle. We immediately parked in the St. Anne parking lot right next to the hotel, and were pleasantly surprised when we realized this public parking (underground 6 euro/day) was cheaper than the 'private' parking offered by the hotel (outside on a hot... This hotel is an older property , is situated in an ideal spot and is charming. We were greeted firstly by a woman who , smiling went and found an English speaking man , ( so much for my french!)who was extremely helpful at check in. Our room although dated was better than I expected for the price, very clean... More

The hotel is part of the Exclusive Hotels network, but I didn't find anything exclusive about it, except for the on-site restaurant (which had 3-digit prices for menus including wine pairing) and the named rooms - all rooms are named after French noblemen/noblewomen. The rooms were dated and they reeked of spoiled cheese odor (probably from the carpet). The rooms... More
