I am a former hotel snob who has learned that when in Europe ( and never really in your room ) that hotels like this one are the true gems. We stayed for only 1 night and paid only 42 euros for a double room, including private secured parking. The hotel is located within short distance to the center. Staff is friendly and very helpful. We knew this hotel from an earlier trip some years ago and were happy to notice that it was still as good as before. The Hotel Victor Hugo was one of the nicest two-star hotels we stayed at in France.
