We had a lovely, if slightly cramped room in the eaves. Great view from our window in the room, even better view from the toilet. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast overpriced. Dinner really top class. Garden a delight and Amboise itself is well worth a visit. We stayed 5 days which is probably one day too many.

Charming and comfortable hotel with lovely staff. The bathroom in our room was excellent and the view from our window of the river just fabulous and uninterrupted! It is only a short walk to the city centre and the chateau. Highly recommended!

best location in Amboise, explore the city by foot or by bike (ours were delivered by a rental bike service and were parking in one of the caves of the hotel); best service , the staff managed all our needs. Le Choiseul struck us a an hotel of contradictions. Located just a little too far from the centre of town, it has a great deal of character but for us a difficult access to and from our room to facilities and carriage of luggage.
