We and our three adult children (20-somethings) enjoyed a one night stay here while on a road trip from Calais to Bordeaux. I simply cant say enough. We came for 2 nights stayed for 7 it was so good. Folks there are wonderful and superb. The hotel is a 1000 year old priory with wonderful rooms and a great atmosphere. Its within walking distance of all of amboise and great food. Ask the desk for a recomendation you cant go wrong there. more

Manoir St Thomas is the most beautiful small hotel. Lovely building, beautiful rooms and decor and gorgous surrounds. the staff are wonderful and Amboise is the best location for exploring the Loire valley. more

Excellent hotel tucked away in Amboise with management very willing to help with any request from restaurant bookings to train timetables to advice about tourist sites, even to the point of arranging breakfast at 6 am to allow for our early departure. We drove into town, and found the hotel easily with directions provided, really liked have on-site parking!
