Good independently run hotel!
We were greeted very politely where reception apologised immediately for a problem with the hot water in the hotel - it was not a problem as we went off to explore Bourges and it was resolved when we got back.
The hotel is located halfway between the motorway/autoroute and the centre of Bourges. Bourges is a very pleasant medieval town and well worth a visit and we were lucky enough to find some live music being played near the cathedral.
We had walked in to town which was about 30 minutes. It felt safe although very quiet and the pavement was a little uneven in places.
The room was basic but clean.
Breakfast was very good.
