One of my favourite hotels in france! The best value for money.... our beautiful room was recently redecorated to a 5 star standard and had a private door to the swimming pool. Pricey for dinner but has a good reputation, there are plenty of cheaper options in the village. Dog friendly and a wonderful stay, long may we return! Tradition , Bon laboureur à chenonceaux , Beautiful hostelery at human dimensions. We have very much appreciated the renovations that have preserved the antiquity of the place (hotel of the 17th century). Henry James who described this house in one of his novels wouldn't feel out of his element next to this wonderful castle...a hotel that was able to preserve it's confortable charme...and added to it's charme and beautiful surroundings , a delightful table. more
