What a fabulous place. Dave and Dot, the hosts could not be nicer or more accommodating. The setting is relaxing and beautiful surrounded by vineyards in the middle a lovely Loire Valley village close to Chinon. Unfortunately we only spent one night at Les Vignes, it was so nice we wished we could have stayed longer! We stayed there en route from Cherbourg to Limoges and it was a great stopover. We arrived at about 8pm and had asked if we could have dinner there. Dot had dinner all ready and we all sat down together... more

Beautiful house with a heated swimming pool set amongst Loire vineyards very close to Chinon. Dot and Dave are lovely people and provided a warm welcome, a taste of French culture and a lovely breakfast of fruits, homemade jams and treats from the boulangerie.
