Back from 4D/3N with my wife. Paid E36/night. Basic amenties, nothing too fanciful. Good enough for a night's sleep. Location is near train station, in a safe area. Don't bother about the breakfast at the hotel, not worth the 4 euros. more

I have just spent two nights at the Etap, central Tours. Location was good as you can walk easily to most of the interesting places. The hotel is really close to the train station, takes about 5 minutes walking. If you've never been to Tours before, you will probably worry as your train pulls into the station. We stayed at Etap Central in October 2005. If you are looking for a central location with clean basic accommodation this is perfect. Everything you need with TV, ensuite bathroom, double bed plus bunk bed if you have a child. Not the best location next to the train station but it is so close to the city centre.
