A group of us stayed in the suites in the annex across the road and were pleasantly surprised by the spacious if eccentric accommodation. Of course we compared our rooms and all were different in their own wonderful way, situated adjacent to the weir and river. Hotel and rooms are clean but quite old, and in need of overhaul. Some rooms are ok, others are less charming. This is not a 4-star hotel! It is part of Relais du Silence, but the hotel is near an Air Force base and is overflown by helicopters and jets, so not as quiet as you may expect during daytime.... more

This is a delightful hotel in Champagne, close to Reims in a rural setting. We stayed here for one night on our way back to England- and it seems that most of the hotel guests were either on their way to their holidays or back home which is a pity as the grounds are beautiful and well-kept and very peaceful.... more
