Selected hotel for overnight stop. Found it clean, friendly and comfortable for a budget price. Rooms are all 'old French style' in the main hotel but clean and comfortable. Stayed here on my birthday en route to the south and was more than pleased with the venue as charming stopover. Troyes itself is a pretty town full of restaurants, bars cafe and, of course, champagne. We found this hotel in the Troyes Tourist Office list of local hotels - picking it our from the others on the basis of price, location and appearance. It was a good choice on all accounts, but we were also pleased with the size of the room we finished up with - a huge improvement on the usual shoe-box size... more

Just got back from a lovely visit to Troyes. I chose to stay at the Les Comtes from the previous reviews and am so glad that I did. Cheap price and convenient location we were happy with our choice. We got lucky and found street parking and fed the meter for the night's stay.
