We stayed for 2 separate nights with friends at this hotel last September, one night on the way down and one night on the way back from a holiday in Annecy. My wife and I stayed in Chevalier (I think it was called) on the way down and Commandeur on the way back. Both rooms were absolutely wonderful, particularly Commandeur... more

Myself, my husband and 2 friends stayed for 3 nights in September for my husbands 50th birthday. The rooms are beautiful but the wooden floors, stairs and thin walls make it very noisy. We ate in the restaurant one night (couldn't afford it for 3). Food was acceptable but vastly overpriced. We found a lovely place for breakfast in Troyes... more

The season was finish, so I take time to answer you about your suggestion and remark, that is for me constructive and necessary to improve the service's hotel. Our chef cokes only bio products, the breakfast is make up only bio products except croissant come the best pastrycook of the town. I take into consideration your remark about the price...

We stayed in the chevalier room for 2 nights. It's a very beautiful room with a superb & enormous bathroom . The room had two huge windows that looked out onto the garden - it would be lovely in summer. Overall the hotel is very charming & we found the staff to be helpful & very pleasant. We ate in... more

Please donot go to this hotel, take something else in this town as there are other and better! We paid 19euro for breakfast and we could hardly see some food appear on the table!!! When we asked for at least an egg or a little piece of cheese ( because there was actually nothing) they wanted to charge for these... more

I selected this hotel because of its top ranking on TripAdvisor as a good overnight stop on route to Alsace. They were very insistent on taking a credit card number as guarantee (it's shown in red on their emails) so I gave them one. Unfortunately, on route to the Channel Tunnel I became ill and had to return home and go... more

A gorgeous property renovated to the highest standards. The rooms are large with very attractive furniture and decor. The location is ideal-away from the noise of the town but still within easy walking distance. I would descibe the position of the hotel as within the old part of Troyes- by which I mean medieval! We used it as a stopping... more

The season was finish, I take time to answer you about your suggestion and remark, that is for me constructive and necessary to improve the service's hotel. Thank you so much for your compliment, I wish to create different decoration for each room and they are spacious. The hotel is located in the heart of Troye's historical district, there is...

Stayed here on the way through France. Pleasantly surprised at the very high standard of the bedroom and bathroom. Everything spotless, of a high quality and in beautiful taste. We were therefore disappointed after sampling their 'very expensive' evening meal. We were forewarned by the constant ping of the microwave in the kitchen, but by then it was too late... more

We stayed at this hotel in June of this year for 1 night on our way down to Provence. I must say the hotel was lovely and the staff very polite and helpful. However, we were extremely disappointed with the food and the drinks. The food and wine were exceptionally expensive for what we received. We ordered a gin and... more

Stayed here one night while travelling south to Burgundy. What a gem of a place! We had the "Petit Louvre" suite on the south side of the courtyard, first floor, and on a warm day it was cool, shady, spacious, comfortable, and well equipped, as well as being a superb example of how to restore an old property to provide... more

Loved this place. In a beautiful side street in Troyes close to various bars, restaurants, sights. The room was lovely, very big, cool with the windows open, enough space for a sitting area and big bathroom. As a vegetarian, the chef arranged a special dinner for me, though we had some fun trying to translate exactly what it would be.... more
