June 19th,2007 We picked Hotel du Golfe after reading good reviews in different travel book listing the Golde a 3***. There were no more room with bayview. Hotel Du Golfe was really awful. We came late after a long journey and were very tired. Asked a receptionist (who didn't even try to be polite) to give us a quite room so we could rest. The receptionist promised the room would be quiet. We came to the room - it was just above a very noisy restaurant area... more

I had spend months booking this hotel from Norway. None spoke English at the hotel, and they were difficult to talk to over the phone. Bad value for money. We stayed there and didn't like it at all. Cheap old furniture, toilet pan was getting blocked. The safe was really small, much smaller than normally in the hotels.
