We stayed here for a night en route to the Swiss Alps. I think the other review is a bit harsh. The hotel features in the Michelin guide as a modest but good place and it seems justified. The food was very good, the service charming (an ill-advised wine choice which was totally my ignorance was changed without fuss or charge). The road immediately opposite the hotel was not massively busy but it is true, it is a large road which separates the garden and the hotel. The river is attractive and there is a long and interesting path the other side of it. I wouldn't necessarily stay here for more than a night or two but if this is all you are doing, it's fine. The drive alongside the river is also lovely. more
