This B&B was an absolute jewel of a find. The owners Dominique and Patrice have done an excellent job of setting up this place with accomodation separate but adjoining their home. Their English is limited but even with my limited French we managed to communicate very well and even had a few laughs together. The room we had (Lilas) was beautiful and very peaceful. We actually looked at the other two rooms which were also very nice. All are on the first floor tho so may be a problem for elderly/disabled-worth the effort of climbing a few steps though. I have MS and just took my time and was fine. Breakfast was served in a guest only kitchen/dining room and was ready when we came down. They have a huge garden with a pretty river at the bottom so you can also sit out and have a glass of wine in the peace of the countryside. A short 20 mins drive to Fontainebleu made it a good overnight stop from the Loire to CDG. Very highly recommended by two experienced travellers with high... more
