Visited this hotel in August on my first visit to Paris. The hotel is quite small, and to be fair a bit of a distant from the tourist attractions. The location itself is very much like the suburbs of a big town, and although we didnt have any issues, dont know how safe it might be. The room was small,... more

Staff were very helpful, and gave pointers to tourist sites. The rooms were small (compared to the typical American hotel room), clean, and well funished. The hotel is located approximately 5 min walk from Rome metro station. Breakfast was on the expensive side. more

Most reviews here are good which is how they should be. There is no noise issue as they have new windows and to be honest it was one of the best sleeps we had on what was a lengthy visit to Dubia and then Paris. When we arrived they had already upgraded us and we laughed a bit as the... more

My wife and I stayed one night before a river cruise and one night after. Yes the rooms are small but most rooms in Paris are small. The staff was helpful and we arranged for wake-up calls and a shuttle transfer to CDG. We had stayed in Paris before so we were not looking for a high end hotel near... more

We spent 5 days in Paris and booked 2 nights at this hotel before we arrived. The hotel itself is great. Nice, modern and clean rooms and the breakfast, if you can afford it, was good as well. The only problem we had with this hotel was the location. Although it was safe and 2 mins from the metro, it... more

Welcoming staff, Good Price. Quiet, nice and clean. I would of like to be closer but this is the price you pay to be on a more quiet street. We could not ear the train or the elevator at all. The room was a good size for a Paris Hotel room. The bed are also confortable. more

The best aspect of this hotel is its location, in that it is only a short walk from the metro and is surrounded by several cafes, brasseries and restaurant. We like walking and took a stroll down to L'Arc de Triomphe, which took us about 30-40 minutes (leisurely). The rooms are small, but equipped with modern furniture. So is the... more

Spent a week in this hotel. We really liked the location close to a subway station (Rome) to access everything you need to see in Paris. Located on a business street adjacent to a nice and safe residential sector with convenient store, supermarket and really good affordable restaurants. The elevator was small and so was the room but newly renovated... more

I stayed at the Hotel Champlain between August 1 and 6, 2009, and must say I was impressed. If you're looking for pampering and luxury this is not the hotel for you. If you're looking for a decent and clean hotel at an affordable price, this may be the right place. The room is a bit small but when I... more

We stayed here for 2 nights in a classic double room, it was very clean and comfortable, it was a small room but we were only there to change and sleep. The staff are friendly and very helpful, the breakfast was good, there was everything from bread, fruit, toast, cereal, chocolate croissants, to full cooked breakfast, coffee, tea in all... more
