Hotel Bellan is a charming, cozy and safe European-style hotel with a welcoming staff and a warm atmosphere. It's tucked away in the 2nd arrondissement, centrally located to metro stops and blocks away from Parisian cafe culture, boutiques and museums. Originally booked for 4 nights, left after one. Tried to get refunded for at least part of our reservation; the owner told us it was our fault we were unsatisfied with the hotel. The sheets were stained, no emergency exit, exposed wires caused by construction, very unfriendly and unhelpful staff. Please do not stay here; the website is inaccurate, we felt uncomfortable and unsafe, and the owner refused any compensation for our troubles. more
