Would definitely recommend staying here, it's a funky location in East Paris, a bit out of the way from the central tourist areas yes but there is a metro just a short walk away. Great value as we got a special offer and an amazing restaurant & bar with a DJ etc and fantastic service. If you are looking for... more

If you are a looking for a hip big city stay, if you are an architecture and design fan, this is a fantastic place to experience. If the Pere Lachaise cemetery is on your list of "must see"s while in Paris, the location is another argument for it. The value for money factor is not bad either. However, if you... more

I typically stay at higher end hotels in Paris (Le Meurice, Four Seasons George V, and Fouquet’s Barriere are the last few places I’ve stayed), but this time, I was planning to be in the city for less than 24 hours, and just needed a nice and clean place to sleep, so I decided to spend less and try out... more

The Mama Shelter was a fun, unique, and comfortable property that was not only a great value, but a fun location for a solo traveler, sightseeing family, or romantic couple. I had stumbled across the Mama Shelter website when reading about hotel design, and decided to book two nights for my trip to Paris. The price was very reasonable (less... more

Stayed here during fashion week and the place was crawling with models and fashion execs all week. The Hotel is away from the heart of Paris but considering the noise that you WON'T be hearing while going to sleep, that's a good thing no? a brisk 10 minute walk to the metro and you can be anywhere you want in... more

Walking in to the Mama Shelter, I thought I had been transported back to the Paramount or Hudson Hotel in NYC. Mama Shelter employs the same hip, modern decor that is de rigeur in the US boutique hotel scene. The rooms are larger than most typical Parisian hotel rooms and also are equipped with the latest in high tech equipment;... more

Found this hotel on a "Conciergerie" website, definitely to be experienced if you are of the trendy "want to be impressed" breed. Located in the rapidly developing area in the 20th arrondissement of Paris, it is a great place to go to a little removed from the hustle and bustle of central Paris. Easily accessible by subway, this hotel provides... more

Very trendy and buzzy hotel, only been open a year, more N.Y.C than Paris but we still loved it. Hotel room quite small as we expected, but adequate and comfortable. We ate dinner in the restaurant, which had a great atmosphere and pretty decent food although quite expensive for what you get. Metro stations all short walk away, so easy... more
