This hotel is great if you're in the military (any military, not necessarily the French military) and want a nice hotel in Paris. The hotel does ask to see your military ID upon check-in and my understanding is that you do have to be an officer. However, we were visiting Paris with a group and reserved 4 rooms and they only asked to see my husband's ID since he's the one who made the reservation. So, if you're traveling with family or friends you may be able to all stay here.
Depending on what room you stay in, you may have a view of the Eiffel Tower from your window. The hotel is only a few blocks from the St. Augustin Metro stop and is directly across the street from the St. Augustin church. There are many restaurants and shops nearby so you don't have to travel far to eat unless you want to. The hotel does serve breakfast...10 Euros for breakfast delivered to your room and 12 Euros to eat at the buffet downstairs. We didn't have breakfast there but we did have drinks down...
