Beautiful old world hotel and location is spot on. Near to two metro stations, fab selection of restaurants and bars on the doorstep. Our double room was small but perfectly adequate, the walls were covered with beautiful fabric with matching curtains. Bathroom was spotless. Breakfast had a great choice and really good value at €12. I paid €6.50 for a cup of tea and €14 for pancakes round the corner! Highly recommend.

Wonderful location.Close to tourist attractions. Lots of cafes and restaurants nearby that offer good tourist menus. We felt safe walking around in the evenings. Friendly and helpful front desk staff, who were happy to assist with booking transfers and our questions. The room was clean, the beds were very comfortable. The breakfast is excellent value for money. There was a variety of food eg boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, breads, cold meats, cheeses, pastries, fruit salad, yoghurt. Good coffee and freshly squeezed juice. There is no way you could get cheaper outside! The breakfast staff were so attentive and helpful 😊

This hotel was wonderful. We had a deluxe room that could accommodate our family of four with 1 queen bed, 1 day bed, and a twin bed. Our tall teens slept in the two single beds without complaint. The room overlooked the interior courtyard, which wasn't any kind of special view, but it was very quiet with no street noise. We did hear some noise in the evening - it sounded like chairs being scraped across the floor. There is a restaurant adjacent so maybe it was the restaurant rearranging tables? It wasn't bothersome and didn't wake me up (I am a light sleeper) but I did want to mention it because the room was not silent. We never heard noise from within the hotel - no noise from the hallway or adjacent rooms (I'm not even sure if there was an adjacent hotel room, with how the layout is). The room was very clean, the front desk staff were very helpful directing us to the metro, the location was super excellent - very close to metro, one block from a lively stretch of streets full of outdoor cafes and bistros, and walkable to Sainte Chapelle, Notre Dame, Louvre, etc.

You know how in each city you visit often you have that favorite boutique hotel. The Hotel Left Bank is ours in Paris. This is the second time we've stayed at the Hotel Left Bank in 2 years and I can't think of staying anywhere else. If you can splurge, stay in the penthouse suite. It's large, it's sweet, it's homey, and best of all it has views of Notre Dame and the Eiffel Tower. If they would sell it to me I would buy it and stay there for months out of the year. The front desk staff are more than professional. They are warm, friendly and always helpful. I can't say enough good things about the staff. And that includes the men/women that work the dining room at breakfast. There's nothing better than the soft, silky scrambled eggs, breads, croissants, fresh yogurt, fruit and a pitcher of piping hot coffee with a second one of hot milk. I do love this hotel.

Situated on the left bank of Paris. The location was wonderful. It was adjacent to cafes, shops, and transportation. The rooms were comfortable and the staff was accommodating. The breakfast room was nicely decorated, and we were served breakfast on fine China.

The hotel is lovely, nicely decorated and well maintained. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel is perfectly placed in the Saint Germaine district. You can easily walk to just about anywhere from here. It is surrounded by shops and restaurants. You won't go hungry. The only downsides are the size of their water closets (They are tiny!) and the number of outlets in the rooms. We had 2 in a room for 4 people. Finally remember Paris is very old and not handicap accessible.

Room Tip: Not easy for people who have difficulty with their mobility. But that is the case for most of Paris.

Very nice hotel in a great section of Paris. Rooms were nice, comfortable and clean. Front desk staff was helpful when we needed information and helping set up transportation to the airport. Breakfast was very inexpensive, but selection was minimal. Ate their only once during our stay since there are so many other places to try. We had 2 rooms both had hairdryers but the one in my room was very hard to use. It was attached to the wall and the hose limited the way you could use it. There was also no outlet in my bathroom. Outlet next to my bed was located underneath the nightstand. Was hard to see unless you actually got down on the ground and looked. To turn the lights on in your room you need to insert your key into the wall slot. It was not mentioned when we checked in but luckily, I had heard about something similar from reading a German hotel review. Elevator is very small but serves the purpose.

This is a really lovely French boutique hotel in Saint Germaine. My 12 year old daughter and I had 6 nights here and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It’s an old building as expected but beautifully kept and decorated. Small but nicely decorated and functional lobby. Check in was quick. Our room was small but lovely, beautiful wallpaper all over, exposed woodbeams in the ceiling and it had everything we would need for a comfortable stay including the most comfortable bed I have slept on in a while. The bathroom had a deep soak tub. The room had windows that opened out for a rooftop and street view. Very pretty. We did not have the breakfast that was offered so can’t comment. The staff at hotel reception were invariably very helpful when we had questions or needed something. The location of the hotel is superb! Cafes, shops, the metro, the bus, taxi stands….you name it, right on our doorstep. I would have given this property 5 stars but I had to take away one star as the Wi-Fi at the hotel was terrible. I haven’t had Wi-Fi that bad in a while. Other than that, I heartely recommend this hotel for a stay in Paris. Even though not cheap, it was value for money in my opinion. The location alone was worth the rates and then our beautiful room that became like our sanctuary. I would be glad to stay here again on future visits.

Great location, lovely service from all the team who were really helpful, and our family room was perfect - well kept, clean and charming. It was an ideal base to explore Paris, with the Metro minutes away and a short walk to Notre Dame.

My second stay and this hotel does not disappoint! The rooms are very comfortable and the bathroom is modern. Care is obvious in the details and I highly recommend. The location is perfect if you like the left bank as many historical buildings are in easy walking distance with many cafes to choose. I can relax here before heading home after 2 hectic weeks in Europe.
