It is such a pity that the checkout process was what made me give the hotel a low ranking overall. I had extended my stay twice, paid upfront as that is what’s required and asked for my invoice to be emailed to which I was told would be done at checkout. __________________ I now regret that as I was asked to pay for an additional night at checkout to which I told the concierge all my nights had been booked and paid for upfront or extension would not have been possible. It wasn’t about the sum which I would have gladly paid but the principle and confusion. ____________________ Upon her insistence and my need to get to the airport she assured me my card was on file and would be debited, I reached out to the hotel seeking to understand the confusion and why I wasn’t asked to leave if I was overextending our agreed upon period. Unfortunately my initial email was responded to with no acknowledgement and an invoice attached which compelled me to warn anyone who may want to stay to ensure they charged correctly, however after writing my review the hotel Guest Relations manager Gloria, promptly responded back to my initial email and assured me not only was it an oversight on their part, they will ensure it doesn’t happen again to anyone else and would rectify the misunderstanding, hence I have updated both my rating and review. ____________________ Positives: -Spacious Rooms -Good service - outside of how they initially handle mistakes -Vivien and Nerizia are phenomenal when on duty -Great area with an incredible selection of restaurants Negatives: -Not the best breakfast would opt for a local cafe ____________________ I believe in fair reviews that allow future clients to make an informed decision and I rarely write negative reviews as I understand the implication they hold for businesses however when I believe it can help others I will. Having said that, I also believe in second chances. __________________ I would still recommend you check all payments when staying here but outside of that for the price you pay you get the most space in Paris with access to incredible restaurants and near major metros

Absolutely lovely hotel, great and friendly staff, our room was really small but the beautiful balcony made us forget that quickly! Beautiful lobby! Situated a bit away from all the shopping madness but that's just good, a lot of nice coffee shops, bars and restaurants nearby!

Staff were very welcoming and helpful and spoke your language. Room was nicely decorated, bed was extremely comfortable and the water pressure in the shower was excellent. Good location with nice restaurants and bars and the metro nearby.

I stayed here for 3 nights in October. Be aware that the "Deluxe" rooms are not really "deluxe" and that it appears they sell more "balcony" rooms than they actually have inventory for. I was on the top floor, but put at the back (near the elevator, and happy to say not as noisy as I'd feared). The room is well appointed, but essentially a big king bed takes up most of the floor space. The very small desk has nearly no function at all. There is a good sized wardrobe, but the hangars are the annoying kind (do they really think their guests are going to steal hangars?). The bathroom was very nice with a deep bathtub, but I had to call down twice as the bathtub drain was broken (and they fixed it on the 2nd day). I would recommend NOT splurging on their so-called deluxe rooms, as all the rooms are around the same size (I saw three - and I don't believe there are any really spacious rooms), and the so-called deluxe I was given was smaller than those of my colleagues. Ultimately, the hotel refunded me one night. Also, apparently there is a "fire alarm" issue in the hotel. It went off twice during my stay, once around 7 am, waking the entire building, the 2nd time around 9 am, both time due to first, a guest running "water" too hot....really....and the 2nd from steam from another guest boiling water that reached the overactive and poorly placed fire alarm. On the upside, the bed was very comfortable, and the breakfast was quite good. The lobby sitting area is lovely too. I would call this a 3 star, not a 4 star, and for the money it was ok, but not exceptional. There are no extras to make a guest feel special. No chocolate, no bottled water, and a robe was provided only as an apology for the issues with the tub (so not generally included with the deluxe either). The staff is unevenly trained. Some are fabulous, others just don't care, but perhaps that is everywhere nowadays.

Dear Vincaj, We thank you for sharing your experience with the Tripadvisor community. We first apologize for the trouble you had with us. We try everyday to satisfy all of our guest but we were not as good as you expected and we are sorry. We have several categories of room at Maison Nabis with only 4 out of 30 rooms with balconies, part of different categories you can reserve online. I am sorry for this confusion you had but you still had a nice French Deluxe Room. Indeed, in old Parisian building for a 4 star hotel, the space could be narrower if you are used to travelling a lot in US or more recent Countries/Cities. The french regulation do not allow us the possibility to verify a fire alert. If our fire detection sense smoke from a cigarette inside a room, even someone smoking at the window, the alarm will ring in all the establishment. Our detection is very sensitive, working well to prevent any risk. For ecological reasons we try to avoid as best as we can to use our offer amenities with plastic. This is why you can find at our bar a fountain that you can use anytime to fill the glass bottle in your room with still our sparkling water at your convenience. Also for our VIP guests we offer the possibility to try our D-Vine Wine cellar instead of a classic chocolat square. As you know, the whole world is short-staffed and sometime we need the assistance of non regular extra staff who does not know our establishment and Maison Nabis spirit. The staff was really, really friendly and helpful. The hotel is clean and the breakfast nice and croissants freshly baked. The room was in very dark colours and that felt a bit claustrophobic as it is relatively small (though not the smallest I have seen in Paris). Perfume is sprayed through the airconditioning so there is no change of switching it off and it was too "heavy" to our likening. When flushing the toilet the water came out on the floor and our showerhead didn't fit the holder. We did made the reception aware of this and they might have sent a guy up but it wasn't fixed. So avoid room 51 if you go for this hotel.

What a beautiful boutique hotel. Such a beautiful place. Staff were lovely. Breakfast was great. Our room was beautiful with comfy bed. Netflix on TV. And great water pressure in the shower. Location was perfect. Lots of cafe style eateries paris is known for and within 3km of all top places to visit. We eould definitely stay there again.

808126822 Myself and my partner travel constantly, but rarely stay in hotels. After a tiresome and unexpected fight change and delay, we needed to find a hotel ASAP and this little corner of Parisian Perfection jumped out at me from the pages a popular booking site Draped in plushness and 1930’s style film- like glamour, the entire hotel oozes charm and sexiness. The added bonus of a private balcony from our room and an in-room Nespresso coffee machine made our weary hearts soar! BUT....the BEST thing about this hotel was the service. Georges, the Concierge on duty that night, was nothing less than an efficient angel in a gorgeous felt fedora. He went above and beyond the regular call of duty to help our friend with his lost baggage issues, accommodated us with a late check out, found champagne at a late hour and was super positive, relaxed, friendly and understanding.... all done with a great sense of humour and genuine empathy. I have and will recommend this little hotel to all who travel to Paris and want a night in a charming arrondissement and a need for a slice of discreet luxury a stones throw away from the Sacré Coeur! Arrived at this hotel for an unplanned stop in Paris due flight delays. What a pleasant surprise after a long, tiring and frustrating day. Nicely decorated from the reception to the rooms it feels like you are in a movie. But the outstanding feature is the service. They give you no problems and also solve all of yours. The staff speak English, cater to your preferences, arrange late check in/out, and cater to your every need. If I come to Paris again I will come straight back to this hotel. It was our few days get away in corona times. The hotel is clean, cosy and lovely designed. The hotel Team was so great. Always helpful and supporting all guests needs. Felt at least a bit like in ‚normal’ days when travelling was a lifestyle not a luxury. The location is very comfortable. No need to use metro to reach several attractions. The room on 5th floor gives great opportunity to have breakfast on the balcony. For sure I will come back!

Very friendly and helpful personnel and a cosy atmosphere. The hotel interior decoration is exceptional, to say the least. The location is very quiet although the ventilation systems were clearly audible from the rear patio. (we like to sleep with open windows) The alternative breakfast solution was a bit of a disappointment.
