Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I've honestly never written a hotel review but after the experience we had at this place I felt it necessary. When we arrived at the hotel we really inspected the mattresses/under the sheets etc. for bed bugs and were fairly confident there weren't any. The sheets had minor stains but my two friends and I have all travelled extensively around the world so that didn't necessarily bother us. Looking back now I realise the stains were where someone had crushed bed bugs on the sheets previously because when we awoke the next day one of my friends had over 70 bites on her arms and countless on her face. We counted four adults and numerous babies in the double bed the next day. When we asked to move rooms because of this staff acted like it was an inconvenience for them, there was no apology, there was no inspection of the room, nothing. The room we moved to didn't have any bed bugs as far as we are aware but it did have black mold growing on the walls. The location of the hotel felt incredibly unsafe, we walked in to the city once and then decided as a group of young girls it would just be safer to get ubers everywhere. We were cat called and followed every time we stepped foot out of the hotel and there was a sort of make shift market where people were selling dirty clothes and shoes where, again, we were cat called and followed. I've stayed in ibis budgets around the world and the standard is usually decent, you know what you're getting and its enough to leave your bags and sleep etc. but this was something else.

Very rough neighbourhood. Unwelcoming staff. Rooms beyond basic. Probably half a step above a backpackers hostel. But they’re usually in nice locations. We all know Paris is expensive but please spend a little more and find something better. Lesson learnt.

BED BUGS in almost every room. Went there with a group of 30 people. Bed bugs were found in many (almost all) of the rooms. Dirty toilets, bathrooms, blankets, sheets, pillows. No air conditioning in rooms, very hot and smelly. Sink located next to the bed. Staff yelled and called our trip organizers ”crazy” and ”difficult” for taking out these issues. Shouted and yelled at us because they tried to change rooms because of the bed bugs and dirt. Breakfast is a joke. Terrible neighbourhood, addicts sleeping on the streets etc. I refused to stay there and went to an another hotel.

We arrived late and saw the worst of this area. Coming down the following morning it's a different place. The rooms are basic but adequate. Close to metro stations and town centre. Don't venture out after 10.00pm. The area is swamped with migrant paedophiles. They targeted my daughter and I told them where to go.

Great value hotel, room was basic but clean and beds were comfortable, room suited me and my son ideally. Booking was easy, check in was smooth and staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. Surrounding area was a bit rough around flea Market but we didn't have any hassle

Ik came to this hotel with my school on a trip. Rooms clearly not designed for 2 people as there was no lock on shower or toilet door and the shower door had a big gap in it which we had to cover up incase my friend perved at my genitals whilst in shower

Not a very good hotel! Stayed there and the water stopped, had to go to the next hotel to have shower. I understand it can happen Rooms are looking way to good in the pictures but in reality not, bed we’re comfortable tho, the only big issue is that the area looks VERY VERY ROUGH! And dont wanna be rude but rough people too The view outside the window is worse than a ghetto! There is a market full of sh*t, and whats left after if terrible, not advise you to go on your own in the night! Definitely Get a taxi ! Even in the day look horrible, and smells of piss , yuk disgusting

This is by far the worst hotel experience of our lives from rude staff to bed bugs to running out of food at breakfast. This is a list of issues i had. Hotel would not answer any of my pre-travel emails. - this gave me problems finding the place and even our taxi driver got lost. Location is in a homeless area - be prepared to step over homeless people to get into the hotel. They smell and make a lotof noise in the night. People sleep outside main entrance. Main entrance full of human waste Had to change rooms because of a broken window Second room had bed bugs and got 8 bites as a result. Second room sink was blocked and TV wouldn't work Reception wouldn't fix room problems. They pretend not to understand either english or miming. they shrug their shoulders and don't get anything done. Reception and all staff pretend not to speak English. They sit on their phones all day and simply shrug their shoulders if you disturb them. Had to get booking.com involved to get sink fixed. It was booked through them and we had to contact customer services in the UK to get our hotel to fix a problem. This has never happened to me before. Breakfast ran out of coffee one day, staff simply shrugged their shoulders and all went and hid in th kitchen. Breakfast ran out of food another day, again staff simply shrugged their shoulders and all went and hid in th kitchen. I got 8 bites from bed bugs or fleas (see photo below). Dirty hotel. Not enough towels and they are too small. Had to close the window to keep out the traffic noise, this led to the room being too hot and no way to cool it down. I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone, no matter your budget. It is in the middle of a ghetto. Outside is frightning.
