Standing at an unconventional spot of the upper 9th district, the Joyce Hotel is ideally located at the crossroads of the theater district, Place St-Georges, and the "hot-spots" of the fashionable South-Pigalle neighborhood. Meticulously decorated by Philippe Maidenberg, with nods to inevitable Parisian monuments, our hotel will seduce you with its comfort and bold design. Luxury car furniture recycled as improvised seats, inverted Eiffel Tower, delicate tromple-l'oeil paintings around beds, breakfast with bio breads and cereals under a very Eiffel-like glass roof: Everything is ready to usher you into a fun and surprising world. Our 44 rooms are full of thoughtful and delicate touches that add to the cosiness of the place. All rooms feature a quiet atmosphere, strengthened in some cases with a terrace or an enchanting view over the rooftops. Our team, available 24/24, will welcome you into a chic and relaxing atmosphere

Pia was the receptionist that greeted us after a very long and tiring flight, she smiled and tried to help in every way to have us check in early. She rang the Lourve to help with tickets and happily answered any questions we had. The ladies that worked in the dining room were very nice too, they helped us with our French and were always polite and helpful. The room was on the 1st floor and provided what we needed in a room for 5 nights although it was very hard to sleep due to the constant noises from people walking up and down the stairs, the lift, the sound of trickling water and the sound of a fan the entire stay.
I would stay there again just for the friendly staff, and there was always snacks available as well as various hot and cold drinks.
It was a good price and the area Montemarte was always buzzing with cafes, music and people. Hotel Joyce was a perfect location for us as we strolled up to Montemarte regularly and within metres from the hotel was a patisserie, butcher, cheese outlet and many more.
We only caught Uber as there was a public transport strike and alot of traffic but there was alternate transport options available. Only minutes from Moulin Rouge also.

We went to Paris for a special occasion and chose Hotel Joyce to be accommodated. I could not have made better choice. Before going I shared what special occasion that was, and the Hotel had a great attention to the details. Our reception was enthusiastic and the staff promptly gave us tips on what we could visit since this was our first time in Paris. The room was small but very cozy and had a private balcony, which despite January cold, was a plus for the room. The room and bathroom were super clean with amenities and hair dryer available and the mattress was very comfortable. The room had a kettle with instant coffee and tea that we could use and there was also a minibar free of charge with water and juice/soda which is not very often to find, which we really valued. The breakfast was good, with quality products to start the day with energy. Also, breakfast room with a glass ceiling was good to enjoy sunlight in the morning. Staff was very professional and attentive and clarified our questions during our stay, either it was on where to get a Covid Test or print other documents needed to take to the airport.
The hotel is near metro stations so we can easily and quickly get to the city center. As it is part of Astotel chain of hotels, it offered the possibility to go to other Astotel hotels and get a coffee and snacks. This was something that we appreciated because it was possible to relax for some minutes in a cozy lobby while drinking a coffee and a tea free of charge.
I highly recommend this hotel, since we had a pleasant stay. Staff and management were super kind and helped us make these days memorable. Thank you!

What an amazing find! I booked this hotel initially on its name as I was taking my friend Joyce to this hotel for a special birthday. Not only did she love staying in 'her' hotel , like me, she loved the friendly welcome upon arrival, the friendly and helpful staff, the extremely clean spacious bedroom, the large and again extremely clean bathroom, the mini bar filled with water, soft drinks and fruit juice that were replenished daily and were so welcoming after a day sightseeing in 30 degree heat.
The usual hotel hairdryer in the bathroom was one of the kind that wouldn't usually dry a thick head of hair but this didn't matter as a lovely more powerful one was also provided for plugging into one if the many sockets. A USB port on top of one of the lamp sockets was also a nice touch. The beds were comfortable as were the Pillows albeit the bed was a little on the hard side but didn't stop us getting a great night's sleep especially as the hotel is situated in a lovely quiet street.
The location of the hotel was perfect. A 15 minute downhill stroll to the Opera and a 15 minute uphill , steep uphill, walk to Montmartre. Similarily once we had mastered the metro the hotel is only a 5minute walk to either St George or Pignalle metro stops which allowed us to travel home via Gare du nord very easily.
As for the breakfast, what a great buffet. Eggs usually consisted of scrambled or omelette kept warm in a large hot dome alongside quiche, ham, potatoes, sausages (hot dog type) and beans in tomato sauce. The coffee machine offered all the usual styles of coffees and hot chocolate. Tea lovers were catered for with an ample selection of tea bags. In addition to the hot breakfast there was a cold buffet of cold meats, cheeses and fresh fruit. Crusty bread, croissants ,pain au chocolats and crepes were also provided and were lovely and fresh, nice and crispy not stale and soggy like some places.
Hotel Joyce , being part of the Astotel hotels, provided an open bar and snacks from 2pm until 2am. We made full use of the fact that we could pop into any Astotel hotel in Paris during those times and help ourselves to the cold drinks, coffees , tea and snacks of Crackers, fresh fruit and cakes. We were provided with a list of all of those hotels and a small map with the location of them so we could pop into any whilst out sightseeing.
All the hotels we popped into were equally welcoming but Hotel Joyce was by far the best.
If you choose to stay here you will not be disappointed just be aware the lift is small and narrow.

Rare find of a reasonably priced hotel with family rooms that can comfortably accommodate my family of 4 (I would have needed to book 2 hotel rooms with most other hotels - which I was hoping to avoid as this was rare family bonding time and I wanted us to be in one unit). The family unit has 2 rooms with a main door so that both connect seamlessly, each with its own bathroom and double beds, closets, tables and stocked fridge. I had to switch to this hotel from my air BnB simply because the latter could not accommodate storing my luggage after check out since my flight was only at night. The recep at this hotel however easily accommodated my requests store luggage both before and after check-in, regardless of the fact that I only stayed one night. My only regret was that I didn't spend my entire 5 nights here instead of 4N with the air BnB (as I wanted more space). Turns out this hotel would have met all my needs as the rooms were reasonably spacious.

Special call-out to Leticia who served us both at check in and check out. She was always super friendly, warm, patient, accommodating and beaming with a beautiful smile. This is the kind of staff any hotel owner/manager would want to hire! At check out, in addition to Leticia there was also Gamica who extended the same friendly service helping us patiently store our many luggages. This small hotel has the best front office staff ever.

It is also very conveniently located with easy access to the subway and places like Galeries a mere 10 min walk away.

Breakfast spread was decent although could have been better if the dishes were heated on steamers.

Friendly staff available 24/7, speak perfect English and extremely helpful. Double bed room was amazing, incredible view of the beautiful paris street, big comfortable bed with many pillows. A small desk area with a lampshade, plugs, a kettle with tea, coffee sugar and milk, a complimentary mini fridge with still, sparkling water and Pepsi max. A modern television with numerous channels, a large wardrobe space with hangers, room for cases and a complimentary safe which is easy to use. Bathroom is brilliant, nice toilet, beautiful sink area with room for wash products, complimentary conditioner and shampoo, along with hygiene kits. Shower is a big space, hot water instantly, good water pressure. Fresh towels brought whenever needed, room cleaning was impeccable. Our flight was a later one, and we were worried about where we could leave our bags, there is a free luggage room! We had breakfast included in our deal, it begun at 7 and finished at either 10 or 11, it consisted of fresh pastries and bread, a selection of cheeses and meat, freshly pressed juice, a coffee and hot chocolate machine, cereal bar, fruits, beautiful area to dine in. I would 100% recommend this hotel to any couple wishing to stay in Paris. it’s about a 50 minute walk to the Eiffel Tower and Champs-Élysées, or if using the metro 30 mins.

Great Hotel for both business- and solo/couples travels. The size of the room is not too small as some other hotels in the city and it's quiet, clean and the interior is pleasant and not visually obtrusive.
The people at the reception were always super friendly and helpful.
Breakfast is rather small, but definitely enough to get you started for the day.

We stayed at the Joyce Hotel six days in august and it was wonderful. From the staff to the rooms everything was perfect.
The breakfast, if you chose to have it, is variegated and the breakfast room is really special with old car seats and beautiful armchairs.
The hotel is near Montmartre and the Opera, and you can easily reach and visite by foot.
The most remarkable aspect, the one who must have a special recognition, is Maria Pia, the girl who welcomed us at the reception and who gave us a lot of advice to visit Paris in the best way. Thank you, you were really precius.
We can not wait to come back.

Very welcoming on arrival and allowed us to check in to the room early (a few hours) as room was ready, which was nice. Hotel was well presented and clean. The area for eating was a bit quirky, lots of mirrors, car seats which were fixed together and some chairs that were fine if you are under 4ft tall.

The room was descent and had all what you need, TV, safe, hair dryer, bath & shower, mini bar etc. The mini bar was FREE, which was a nice touch, but no alcohol though. Bed was nice size and duvet was of decent thickness. The room had air con which was good.

There was free snacks and soft drinks (hot and cold) in the eating area, this included some cakes, which again was a nice touch.

The buffet breakfast was ok, with a selection of continental and hot items. Was expecting better pastries being in France though.

There is a computer that can be used for free in the eating area.

The hotel is located well on a quiet road and is between two Metro stations (different lines), so getting around was easy. It is not far from Moulin Rouge.

Overall, I would recommend staying here.

The price we paid was inflated due to the rugby, which was frustrating as we didn’t go there for that, but supply and demand applies I suppose.

Stayed here for one night with my partner we were greeted in a friendly way and when we were too early for check in we were given espresso and pastries while we waited.
The elevator is tiny it only fit one of us at a time with our luggage and it took a while when checking out due to limited lift access but the room and ensuite were fresh and functional and felt bigger than average ( by Paris standards)
Parking is very difficult so best not to hire a car.
Overall the staff were very friendly and informative and. I would stay here again
