Excellent location, a comfortable bed /although it was not a double bed but two twin beds together, which would be fine if the beds didn’t move and separate constantly. The hotel is located a minute's walk from the metro station, with a great connection to all famous attractions. Friendly staff. There is a safe in the room, and the young and helpful man from the reception desk helped us set the code for the first time. Tasty breakfast/ the coffee was too weak for us, so every morning, we grabbed espresso to go for 1.3e, at the vape shop just across the street from the hotel. Hardworking gentleman never missed to say good morning during the breakfast service, no matter how busy the dining room was. The room was clean, a bit dated, but very well maintained. The linen and towels were spotless, and the refrigerator worked well. Quick check out. But… We arrived before 14, so I guess that was the reason the first room we got was not cleaned when we entered it. So, instead of waiting for the room to be cleaned, we were offered another room that was ready, and it was a mistake. The room was the same, but the window was facing another window and two walls/ photo attached/. Let's make it clear- we stayed in the room only at night to sleep, but it was so depressing to open the window in the morning and have no clue if it was morning or evening, and you cannot even guess the weather. I know they would give us another room if we requested, but we had no time to waste after the long trip- we just wanted to take a shower and run outside and enjoy the beautiful city.

Nice hotel, great area, friendly staff, comfortable room. We stayed 6 nights and found Ave De Clichy an excellent area for transport, restaurants, and a great choice of shops. Brochant Metro only down the street. Le Fourge Metro other end of street. Was very happy staying at 121 Hotel, breakfast was in the basement area. Nice choice of beautiful croissants and baguettes. Would definitely stay again.

After an early morning flight we were pleased to be allowed to check-in early. However, upon entering the triple room my wife and daughter gave me that look that said they will not be allowing me to book holiday hotels ever again. And they reminded me about this over and over again during our 3 night stay. Positives - staff very responsive when breakfast trays needed restocking or we needed rubbish taken away or directions. Room cleaned each morning. Very handy location with Metro station walking distance away. Lots of take-away restaurants available offering Arabic, Caribbean and western foods. Felt safe late at night. Negatives - lights flickering off and on, damaged ceiling, hole in the wall behind 3rd bed, no charging plugs by bedside, no English speaking TV channels (a bit arrogant of me, I know), no notices for customers to be quiet late at night - were woken several times due to thin walls and thin doors! No tea or coffee facilities (in this day and age? There was a paying machine on ground floor). I could say lots more but I won’t. If you don't care about decor and surroundings and just somewhere to rest your weary head for one night then this hotel is for you. If you’re a first timer to Paris and want to a lovely trip to a foreign land, don’t let this be your first impression - you’ll have a lot of making up to do! Look around or pay just that little bit more so that your trip is unforgettable and for the right reasons.

The positives: This hotel is a good value for the money. The staff were absolutely lovely and welcoming. We booked two rooms, and arrived at 9:30 AM; check in is 2:00 PM. The rooms were ready, we were allowed to go up, and had a nap before beginning our day. Both rooms had 3 beds, one room with two balconies and one with one. Our two balcony room looked out over the street, and the other over a building and lot. (Let me tell you it is amazing to open your window and listen to the street noises at night. Makes you feel like you're really there!) Paris 121 is located well, only 1 block to the Metro. With a lovely bakery across the street, nice cafe's a short walk away, a middle eastern restaurant right across the street, and even a grocery store a block and a half away, for us the location was ideal. The negatives: The internet was spotty, so you can't really depend on it. The pillows were very hard and need to be replaced. The breakfast was a buffet, so you could eat all you needed to eat, but was the same every day which became boring after 4 days' time. Was it the Ritz? Nope, but then again, we didn't PAY for the Ritz! Was it a good value for the money? I would say a definite yes. We would definitely stay there again. It was a great start to the New Year, 2022!

This is a budget place, so the dirty carpet was a non-issue for me. The staff was very helpful and there's an amazing French bakery & Middle Eastern bakery nearby. The wifi only worked in the lobby and our room had a view of the wall of another building. LOL! If you're sightseeing, this may be a little too remote for you. But it was only a 20 minute walk to Moulin Rouge, so there are things nearby and lots of great restaurants. The breakfast here is pretty basic. I'd recommend trying one of the restaurants nearby.

Considering we only paid £45 a night, the location was good a few bars and restaurants about. Just a short metro journey into the centre. Basic as expected but unclean, the shower curtain was brown and smelt awful. There was no main light in the room and a lack of plugs. The bed was comfortable and staff were friendly. The room has aircon and a hairdryer provided in the bathroom was handy. Towels were replaced everyday. An ok stay.

The room was basic which is fair enough as we were not in it much. There were no tea making facilities.when we have been to France before they always had at least CNN news in English on the TVs not this time. When we arrived we had to go to the sister hotel next door(I think this is the hotel that gets the good reviews) to get the key but we had to go back to reception as the safe didn't work. After 1 night the key didn't work so we had to get another one. On the 2nd night after a full day out we returned to our room which had not been touched. This was not a problem for us except our towels were on the floor so we went to next doors reception to ask for towels.we never complained but when we went to check out the next morning the receptionist basically called us liars and said the cleaner said he cleaned the room. Then she said he may have missed the towels, then as the conversation went on he may have missed the bin. No mention of not changing the bed.she was really rude.we don't care about the bed change etc as there is only us in the room and we had forgotten about it until she brought it up. The location of the hotel is really good.its close to the metro plenty of restaurants and shops and a fantastic bakery on the corner
