We had a great stay at the Montalembert, and would recommend it to anyone looking for a nice hotel on the Left Bank. We booked the jr. suite for max space, and found it to be comfortable, clean and modern. The people were great, and we were in the perfect location for exploring on foot. Amazing restaurants are within a... more

We booked a Standard room, not refundable.. and got a very small room which may be quite comprehensible.. The air-conditioning didn't function sufficiently. The room was too hot. Above all.. our bed was way too small.. more

the montalembert is in a beautiful position, in the very heart of st germain. It is not the classical luxury parisian hotel, it is more cosy, tipique, in some way simple and authenic. there is a nice mix between design and classical elements and the atmosphere is really good. The restaurant is lovely at lunchtime, particularly in the terrasse, and... more

I was told a lot of good about the Montalembert. I like boutique hotels because it's always more exclusive and spicy. One of the appealing elements was the proximity to the restaurant L'Atelier of Joel Robuchon (right next door) and the fact that it was on the Rive Gauche which made it accessible to the nice side of Paris. The... more

A suite for 800 EUR without breakfast, very small - max 40m2 - small bathroom and the king size bed was used already to long by to many clients. Works opposite the hotel, also on Saturday morning... more

Dear Guest, We are sorry that our hotel did not meet your expectations. The buildings on the left bank are smaller than the right bank which is typical of Saint Germain des Prés. Regarding the works on the other side of the street they are now completed and we apologize for the inconvenience although it was not on site of...

we came here for 4 days and the staff were terrific. we arrived early (there were 5 of us) and they made the effort to get our rooms ready and grace us with an early check in. a blessing after an all night flight from new york. we had lunch at the hotel and it was quite good. yes the... more

We were originally due to stay for 3 days, but ended up staying 6 days due to the volcano. We loved the hotel, great staff. great location, great service, super rooms. We got upgraded so had a really fantastic room. It was expensive, but in line with all Paris hotels. Our only comment is that they could improve the breakfast... more

Before we arrived the hotel answered all my questions and were very helpful two hours before we landed at Paris to book us a transfer. On arrival we were greeted by a friendly porter (it was a little late) who offered if we would like something to eat, we declined but it was a nice offer. The room (we took... more

The location is great, but you find better values for money close by. The rooms are extremely (!) small and the furniture worn and it looked "cheap". It looked more like a room for a budget traveller but not anywhere close to 370 Euros per night they charged. Makes you wonder how they made it into the "Private Collection of... more

Dear Guest, We thank you for taking the time to write a review about our property. We are really sorry that the size of the rooms did not meet your expectations. Regarding the power outlet in the bathroom, we understand it would be convenient for blow drying but due to French security laws we are not allowed to install any...

Spent 3 nights in Paris with family holidaying in Europe from overseas. The hotel was welcoming, clean and the service was exceptional. Rooms might be a bit small as most Parisian rooms tend to be but the decor was nice without being too over the top. Having stayed in several more expensive hotels in Paris with poor service or stuffy... more
