Wonderful hotel, our 6th visit. Always a warm welcome, nice rooms, and a bar where Julia Child used to have dinner when it was a restaurant, back in the 50's. Our favorite place to stay and we look forward to returning. more

Average hotel in very good location,good breakfast,the usual small rooms but good bed and comfortable atmosphere. not the ritz, but good value. recently redone which helps. more

Our visit to this hotel was very nice. The front desk gentlemen were very helpful and eager to please. The rooms were clean and decorated nicely. Beds were very comfortable new mattress. The area Saint Germain was much quieter than the other bank, nice change of pace, and walking distance to the Muse D' Orsay and Louvre, and other sights.... more

Hotel was recommended by French friends for its good reputation but, apart from the attractive art deco lounge and bar, this is one of those adequate, OK hotels that are common in any capital city. I can only agree with everyone who's had experience of bad service here - me too, and it makes for an unpleasant stay. That, added to boxy, grubby little rooms with no storage space that are woefully overpriced mean just one thing: avoid, avoid, avoid! more

Contrary to a Feb 2009 review we found everything to be excellent during our four night stay.. The staff we most helpfull - booking restaurants, giving advice etc. The simple breakfast was also excellent - our croissants were as fresh as could be, and the coffee delicious.
