The common areas were a little stuffy, but the service was excellent and not too overbearing, including the concierge, who was very helpful. The hotel's location is really good, room was nice and large (in Parisian standards) and a welcome basket of fruits were waiting. Still it lacked something in the atmosphere. One night concierge gave a good (local) restaurant recommendation but totally wrong walking instructions! Next time I will try one of the Grand hotels (George V, Le Meurice etc.) more
