Pros: there is a lift, sporadic aircon, it's cheap and it's in a good tourist location close to the Eiffel Tower. Cons: shabby, cramped, could do with refurbishment or at least a good clean, no kettle in the room, sporadic aircon. If you're looking for a budget hotel room that you're not planning to spend much time in, fine. If... more

We received a personal suggestion for this hotel and also read reviews on this site and Rick Steve's and decided to book directly. It was a perfect location, near the eiffel tower, a metro stop, Rue Cler, a great bakery, cafes, etc. Yes, the room was a little small but it worked perfectly for our purposes. We had a slight... more

We travelled off season. So room reservation was easy and cheaper than expected. We got a decent doubleroom with a clean bathroom for only 80euros. We chose this hotel the OLD FASHIONED WAY - by inspecting the room in person & by comparing it to the nearby hotels. The internet is really great for hotel research! However inspecting the options... more

We booked the hotel because of its location and the reasonable price. Immediately disappointed when entered : DIRTY, SMALL ROOMS, DAMAGED WALLS AND CARPETS, BATHROOM FULL OF MILDEW, NO SERVICE. Left the next day into an international hotel chain for the same price. NEVER MORE. Have a look on the pictures more

We chose this hotel because of the price and the fact that it seemed to be one of the few hotels that could accomodate a family of four. It was also recommended by Rick Steve's so that gave us a bit of confidence. We were placed on the 6th flr with one double bed, a twin alcove bed and a... more

This hotel is reasonably priced and in a great location. It is just a block or two from: a metro stop, good restaurants, Rue Cler shopping area, several sidewalk cafes for afternoon lounging, and must see tourist sites. The staff was attentive and friendly but not overly solicitous arranging transportation to and from airports. The room/bath were very clean and... more

PROS: The location was perfect. Short walk to the tower. Near restaurants, transportation. We had no problems with the staff. Mr. Humberto was extremely helpful and accommodating. He was very helpful in giving us information about the city, attractions, transportation etc... He spoke Portuguese, which was great since some of our family traveling with us is from Brazil. Upon arrival... more

Our family of five (myself, husband and 3 children ages 8,9 and 11) just arrived home after a six-night stay. We enjoyed our stay very much. We booked connecting rooms 18 and 19 on the third floor. Room 18 had a double bed and a larger bathroom with a shower. Room 19 had 3 single beds with an unusually large... more

Stay here at your own risk. We traveled in from Switzerland and stayed here over the winter holiday and had over 1,000 USD of personal items stolen from our room. Despite the fact that it was clearly not a random theft (the thief actually took their time to select what items to take) we received absolutely no help from the... more

Never book a room in hotel Turenne, Paris. It's very small and old and the rooms are terrible. The furniture is very cheep and the walls are damaged. The bathroom is clean but depressing. The people who are working there, especiallty the guy who works at the reception is very unfriendly. When we got there ( even if webooked the... more
