We stayed several days in this charming little gem of a hotel in the midst of the bustling rive gauche area of Paris. It was delightfully decorated in fresh, warm colors. We loved the St. Paul! Excellent location near Odeon and St. Michel Metro stops, could walk to major sites, museums, knowledgable, attentive, friendly staff, cozy room (although quite small, but that's Paris), air conditioning, and lovely breakfasts. Great neighborhood with good restaurants, shopping on St. Germaine Boulevard steps away. Would really like to go back. more

We stayed here for 3 nights, choosing the hotel on the basis of good reviews here and in guide books. The location was brilliant, in the beautiful and relaxed left bank part of the City, on a street with several restaurants and near to the metro. We spent five nights ( 2 nights, then three nights two weeks later) at Hotel Saint Paul in July 2009. It has a great location in Saint Germain, quiet but really handy. The Odeon metro is a short walk away as is the Luxembourg metro which is on the RER line to CDG airport.It s close to many many restaurants... more

Stayed four nights in Hotel St. Paul. Great location in the 6th arrondissement both in terms of safety and walking access to mny tourist sites. Two Metro stops very close by. Tremendous place! The most helpful staff in this city and friendly with it. Indeed nothing seemed to be too much trouble. Quiet location near the Luxembourg Gardens with loads of character plus our room on the top floor had double glazing to the opening windows and a view. What is it about the rooftops of Paris? Wonderful welcoming hotel and staff. The location is great. The room i shared with my daughter was a little small but the beds are extremely comfortable (no backache as I have usually in hotels) and bathroom updated.
