To cut a long story short, the hotel is value for money (about 60 Euros).As seems to be the norm with most hotels in Paris, the rooms are quite small (about 10 X 12 feet). We had quite a shock when we first saw the rooms (coming from where we do, the rooms @ these rates are at least 3 times the size) and wanted to move out immediately but after looking around realized that for the money we were paying, it was a decent deal.The rooms and bathrooms are spotlessly clean. The best part about the hotel is its location. The Republique metro (which is a metro from where there are quite a few metro interchanges) is a 5 minute walk away from the hotel. There is a laundry just next door; a café next door, a Chinese takeaway opposite and 2-3 pattissieries close by. There is also a small supermarket opposite the hotel (I think it is Monoprix) from where we used to pick up all our juices and bread from).Breakfast is 1 croissant , 1 baguette ( I can't eat them, and after 3 days, the staff refused... more
