We were tempted by the description and pictures of this hotel on the internet. When we got there we were put into a room which was like an unpleasant, dark cave. The walls of the corridor and the room were half covered with carpet. In the room it was dark green and peeling off as was the wallpaper and the... more

This hotel is very good 2 star hotels!!! We was in Paris many times, stay always like 2 stars hotels. This is best one! Location is good; you can walk parc luxembourg, latin quoartier, Notre Dame etc. Just a few steps! And ofcourse if you want move on by metro its very easy, also RER. Near is Saint Michelin metro... more

This hotel is just what you need in Paris. Friendly staff (isn't it basic courtesy to say Bonjour?) and decent sized room. Yes the fittings were a bit tired but everything worked and you're hardly paying the earth to stay here. Bed a bit lumpy but fine, decor hilariously out of date but so what? What you're really paying for... more

Great Location situated 5 min away from the moulin rouge and right next to a metro, supermarket and bakery. Room was quite small but clean and cosy the bed was so comfy it was hard to get up in the morning! Staff were very pleasant and spoke perfect english. Breakfast was probablly not worth 7 euros, it was nice all... more

I have just returned from a one night stay at this hotel and all I can say is that I am so glad it was only 1 night! This is the worst hotel I have ever experienced. The rooms were dark and cramped, bedding appeared dirty, bathroom tiles broken and shower not attached to the wall. The toilet was located... more

My friends and I went here as a wee holiday before heading back to Uni, and all I can say is we loved it! We had a very warm welcome (say bonjour and it gets you far) and on seeing the rooms, it was as expected- basic, a bit small, but with a lot of character (fireplaces!). Showering was a... more

I've only given this review a 1*star as there is no option for 0*stars! I was greeted by a night porter, to have a key thrown at me and left to find the room on my own. The room, if you can call it that, was small, with a mattress on the floor for a bed. The toilet was one... more

v. surprised by some of the reviews as we found the hotel manager to be charming and very helpful and he was v. supportive of our efforts to speak basic french. The hotel rooms were of a good size, decor maybe slightly dated but clean with comfortble beds. Founds some fantastic restaurants towards Monmatre - in all a super weekend... more
