We've only just come back from Paris. The Mirific is in a good location for the centre - about 20 min. We preferred to jump on a bus no 74 which is nearby too. In that way we could see a bit of Paris and saved our feet which were on fire after day 1. There is a supermarket called... more

Please dont stay in this hotel. The hotel is in a precarious condition. The elevator takes eons to come up, (if it reaches though). The rooms are absolutely horibble, dirtly, shabby. The Bath is even more pathetic. Please Please dont stay in this hotel even if someone pays you for it. more

My husband and I stayed in this hotel while on a weekend trip to Paris. We found the reception staff cold at best and our shoebox room depressing, stale and grubby. The bathroom was ridiculously small and claustrophobic, while the cleaners obvsiouly don't have access to any bleach as the shower was dotted with mould. A glass of cigarette butts... more

Having travelled extensively all over the world I can honestly say that this is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in, by miles. The staff were, even for Parisians, astonishingly surly. We asked if we could check in (we were 20 minutes early) and were told "no", just that: "no". We asked (politely and in French) if we could... more

You get what you pay for. Such a louse bed, what a crappy room (it never felt clean, the bedcover was really DIRTY), and after a day away from the hotel, we were one raider (chocolate bar) down. I know it was just chocolate, but still.... Everytime a truck (or a bus) passed by, the whole room was shaking. They... more

Just returned from a 4 night stay and the age old saying, "you get what you pay for" sums this hotel up. On entering hotel, the reception area appears clean and tidy, the receptionist was very friendly. After reaching the room and opening the door-oh, dear! No room to swing a cat. Bathroom reasonably clean but half used toilet roll, shower... more

We arrived and checkin, when we got to our room, it was not a double as booked, but a twin. Then looking around the room, it was dirty, shabby and the worst Hotel room I have ever seen. Hole in the wall, furniture only fit for a bonfire, no fire escape, only air conditioning was open window. It was so... more

After reading some of the reviews, I was expecting to find a "terrible" hotel. But no... I traveled with my husband and 5 years son. The Hotel is very, very, very nice! The people are very friendly and helpfull. Our room was nice (triple), it had a safe box in the armary for clothes. A/c working, elevator working, ... The... more

Pass this one by. I would not leave my dog here. My partner had booked another hotel, and when we arrived we were told it was changed to The Mirific. So we got bumped into here. First impression is OK, nice reception, and only 50m from Metro. Then we saw the room! Old, decrepit, small. They could not even find... more

We stayed for two nights at this hotel while we went on an organised walking tour of Paris. It is not in a central location but is well served by buses and the Metro is only a 100 metres away [Brouchet]. It is in a very cosmopolitan area and has many shops, supermarkets and restaurants in the same road. ATM... more
