The only good thing is the location.... hotel has ZERO amenities, service is dreadful, Internet completely intermittent... and I HAD A COLD SHOWER... in a four star hotel... the boilers were down this morning... I am paying 280Euros/night... on a super duper deal.. blah blah... and have a little pokey room facing a wall in the back... not good in... more

Hotel made agreement with my host and when hosts' card was declined they charged all rooms to my credit card on the auspice that it was illegal for me to leave with payment. fighting it tooth and nail- love paris but this place almost ruined the love affair with the city ...Not worth it more

We stayed at the Napoleon for 7 nights. When we arrived, we were offered an upgrade to a suite with a balcony. I selected the Napolean based upon other reviews and was very satisfied with my decision. I was there for the conclusion of the Tour de France, which is a crowded and hectic time in this area of the city. The Napolean provided a sanctuary from the crowds. We have stayed at the Napoleon many times over the years and never been disappointed. We recognize up front that the room sizes may be smaller than U.S. standards, so usually we upgrade to the suite. This time we just took the regular room and were very pleased. The bed was comfortable not like stone in some hotels of Europe.... more
