My boyfriend and I stayed there in June. The hotel itself was great - nice rooms, good service, friendly staff, great buffet breakfast. The problem was that the hotel is near A LOT of sex shops along one street (the street the Moulin Rouge is on) and the atmosphere was therefore not what we were expecting - i.e., boulangeries and... more

We stayed at the hotel in the second week of May/09 and were happy with both the hotel and the location. It is very close to a main subway line and once you figure out you are on the "blue' line it was easy to get back and forth to any of the sights - (just remember to always look... more

My cousin and myself stayed at this hotel from May 8th,2009-May 15th. The reception staff was fantastic, smilling and delighted to help if approached politely. The room was clean and adequate. I loved the efficiency of this hotel. For example rather than putting an iron in each and every room, there is an ironing room on the 5th floor open... more

At first, I booked a Sofitel through Accor's A|Club site, but then I realised we were actually hardly going to spend time in the hotel anyway. When in Paris, one should only use the hotel for sleeping, and be exploring the city as much as possible. So we changed the booking to this more economical Mercure instead. I can only... more

Just a short review: Found it on trip advisor - smaller , more highly rated hotels were fully booked even though it was a Sunday/Monday night booking. Felt their rates were reasonable. Front desk staff were friendly/polite. Bar was a mess with plenty of empty tables, but all covered in dirty glasses. Room was exactly what you'd expect from this... more

Location is great and standard of room was good, but service was very poor. On arrival the face on the receptionist was miserable and the greeting was lacklustre. I booked through hotels.com, but the receptionist said the fee I had paid was too cheap and asked for more money, which I refused. I was given a room reluctantly after asking... more

The hotel is well situated, the rooms are clean quite small but all basics are there. The service at the reception was not a great experience, let say that the price is ok for a 3 star hotel in that location but the service is far below the average. I recommend not to have breakfast in the hotel 16 euros... more

The hotel is quiet good situated, not far away from Montmartre and with a public parking just aside of it. The hotel itself is quiet big but the rooms are very comfortable, clean and spacies. The staff is very friendly and helpfull with your questions about Paris. The breakfast room is a large room with a lot of tourists around... more

We picked up a hire car at Charles De Gualle airport and required a hotel that was relatively easy to locate via car and had parking available. We also wanted to stay somewhere that was not over priced (difficult to find in Paris), good quality and close to the romantic Montemartre district. We were more than satisfied with this hotel... more

This a relatively modern hotel and was clean and tidy. After some variable hotel experiences in Paris in the past, this time we opted for a modern 'chain' hotel for a more predictable quality of stay and we weren't disappointed. The metro station just outside the hotel has lines going direct to the Arc de Triomphe, the other end of... more
