It is a good hotel, by its cost. Relatively near Opera Palais Garnier, three metro stations. It is clean, the people are very nice, friend and helpful. We are in a front room, seeing the Montholon Square. The lift is very, very small. One person and the luggage. You carry your cases.

If you are looking for a cheap way to visit Paris, the Montholon is the place to stay. Clean small rooms and very friendly staff. The breakfast is kind of poor and the reataurant has this small tables.

You've read some of the recent reviews and they are pretty accurate. There is construction outside the hotel and it looks like it will be there for a few months. It's not the hotel's fault. The construction stops around 6pm and starts around 8am. It is loud, but hey, you're in Paris, you should be out during those times. Some... More

Me and my partener were advised to go here by travel agents and we were really looking forward to being in the center of paris. The hotel was brill apart from it differs alot from the pictures..there was building work going on all around the hotel and nearby roads so that didn't help. The hotel itself and rooms were good....
