I didn't expect too much from this hotel and it met with those expectations, however it was reasonably priced for Paris and in this case you get what you pay for. The location is handy for visiting the sights of the city and there are plenty of bars and restaurants in the area with French, Japanese and Italian cuisine on... more

We stayed here for three nights on our short break to Paris. In terms of location, it is pretty ideal as is it central within the city, has a bar / restaurant and a Metro station on the street corner which is literally 20 seconds walk from the hotel entrance. The hotel is fairly small and the rooms quite basic,... more

The neighborhood is slightly scarey for mother and daughter at night. The service was good and the desk clerk very nice and helpful. Very close to Metro. The room was tiny!! One person had to sit down, so the other could walk around the beds. I would not recommend this hotel more

Found the hotel on Travelocity. Almost cancelled my reservation after reading tripadvisor reviewes. Eventually decided not to do so since I'd just be sleeping there for a nite and the location looked convenient enough. When I checked in, a nice Indian guy was at the reception. He was friendly and spoke good English. He allowed me to check in before... more

Budget hotel. The room was quite good and although you don't get much of a view out of the window, it is not really something to expect in a street like this, but the balcony effect was quite nice. Breakfast was an interesting experience watching the stressful catering staff trying to dealing with more customers than they could cope with.... more

Horrible. We arrived late with our two young kids and our reservation made online the same day was not in their system yet. We were “lucky” enough that they had some rooms left. The guy at the front desk had never worked there so it took over 40 minutes to get the keys. They made us take two rooms and... more

Dear Clients, Something seems unfair in this statement as we do have fixed personal for night and day reception. If you reserve 10 mn before you arrive at the hotel, you will easily understand that the reservation can not be registered directly in our hotel software as it is not the same system. In this case, we ask to the...

The person who wrote about the prostitutes, thieves and beggars in the neighborhood was exactly right. His review sounds genuine, as opposed to people who gave this hellhole an above average rating. We just got back from a weekend in Paris where the hotel we had booked had an emergency flooding situation and re-housed us in the Regina. It was... more

We do appreciate critics because they help us to improve our services when they are justified. Our hotel is not a “hellhole” : we are classified as 3 stars by the Tourism Ministry and we care about the quality of our services (reception and cleanliness for instance) : we thank this client to have underlined that our staff is “fine”...

I booked EuroRail passage from London to Paris through Hospitality Lines. As part of the service, Hospitality Lines selected a 3* or better hotel for us. We were not allowed to know the name of the hotel until after we paid for all - Hospitality Lines "selected" the Regina Opera for us. Let me start by saying that Hospitality is... more

We are very sorry that this client’s stay in our hotel went off badly. It may happen that clients fraudulently accuse hotel stealing something to make money. This review is not representative of our hotel’s quality of services and high level of honesty. The hotel Regina Opera staff tries every day to pay attention to guest comfort and satisfaction. In...

Good location, near Bonne Novelle Boulevard Metro Station. The street (Rue de Mazagan) where the hotel is situated is not very clean and is a little ''ill-looking''... Nice Breakfeast. Small Bedrooms. Small Bathrooms. The General Look of the room was not the better. The elevator didn't work during our stay (5 days). The bedrooms were very clean. I think that... more
