The location -- Super close to a metro station and therefore minutes from everything you want to see in Paris. There are also plenty of restaurants, a pharmacy, a few grocery stores nearby. Unfortunately, the everything else nearby is inappropriate for children. It's the reddest red light district I've ever seen. It just goes on and on and on for... more

Firstly please note that this hotel is tucked neatly in between sex clubs and sex shops. My sister and I stayed here for about 4 nights and it was good for a laugh. Our room had a lovely view of a sex/strip club across the road called 'Dirty Dicks'.....LOL. The hotel itself is old and in need of some TLC....the... more

The hotel is well located and was good value for money in an expensive European city. The hotel is very close to both local (metro) and regional (train) transportation. Breakfast was basic, but included. Although there are ``exotic`` bars and shops in the immediate area, also within a few blocks walk are many good boutiques, restaurants and bakeries, the majority... more

We spent one weekend there in June. The location of the hotel is very centric. The metro station is 50 meters from the hotel. And if you want you can walk in 20-30 mintues to the main tourist sides. Breakfast is typical French, so don't expect to much of it. We had a room to the street, and it was... more

It is THE WORST hotel I ever stayed in my life! Room at first floor was so noisy! My bed was shaking while metro train was running under. Then was noise from delivery and workers who were listening radio news!!! Smell of spoiled milk is everywhere! (I wish you never had such bad experience) Your bed. You will feel EVERY... more

Good points - the hotel was fairly inexpensive, and kept reasonably clean, although a total facelift would help. The hotel is in a good location, very close to the Metro and good for Montmartre area. If you're feeling energetic it's a downhill 20 -30 min walk to the Louvre. The hotel is in the Pigalle area, which is the red-light... more

I stayed in this hotel for two nights of my 10 night stay in Paris; I found it to a great value for the money. The area is really interesting (never seen so many sex shops in my life). Despite that fact it is an extremely good location close to all that Paris has to offer, and the Metro station... more

Perhaps the hotel standard in Paris is simply low, but this hotel isn't one I would recommend. The first impression you get is that you've arrived in a Red Light district, with sex shops everywhere, and prostitutes hanging out in bars (and sometimes on the street) 10 meters from the entrance to the hotel. The area didn't seem downright shady,... more

I chose this hotel for its reasonable winter rates and because it was on the doorstep of two Metro lines and close to Montmartre. I found the staff pleasant and helpful (and on duty 24/7). My room was small but adequate and the single bed was comfortable. Some renovations were going on while I was there, which may improve its... more
