We stayed for 3 nights in September in the Champagne Suite. The room, hotel, and executive lounge were lovely. Since our room was a suite, it was quite spacious with 2 bathrooms, a bedroom and a living room. We stayed here for a weekend trip to Paris. It is located aoubt 1-2 blocks (at most) to the Glaciere stop off the metro. This is only two metro stops off the RER B which goes to/from CDG airport. Seven of us stayed at the Marriott Rive Gauche for five nights in early July of 2008 and we were very impressed. I'd recently stayed at this hotel using reward points. After reading the reviews I was concerned about the distance of the hotel from primary tourist attractions, however; due to the close proximity to key train lines and the layout of the City of Paris itself, I found no problems in getting around and having access to any attractions. The hotel is average with a number of unpleasant staff members. I stayed at the Paris Renaissance and they where a lot nicer. Both hotels where clean and close enough to the metro. This hotel is closer to the Eiffel Tower and the train that takes you to Versailles. more
