As I said in the title, this hotel has a great location, the Metro station Chateau d'Eau is very close, cca 30 m. Also Gare du Nord is very close, you can take a walk from Gare du Nord till Garden Opera Hotel, it takes less than 15 min. The Metro ticket is 1,60 EUR, and the RER ticket from... more

Myself and 3 friends (all females aged 22) stayed here for 1 night on Sept 19th 2009. I'll break my review into sections for ease. Check-in: quick and friendly; were in the room with 5 minutes. There is a left which is good for guests with mobility issues or those with lots of luggage (not all hotels in Paris have... more

At first sight very dubious as to locality. But very peasant at reception. The staff were very helpful when we reported the shower connection was broken and no bath plug and they were fixed on our return that evening. The room was small but kept very clean. The location is excellent for travelling around Paris and we intend staying there... more

It was all OK. The room was ok, everything works well from the elevator to the bathroom to the fridge and the TV. Breakfast was simply bread & butter/jam with coffe/tea/milk but you can ask for more helpings. The rooms, hallways, dining area and lobby is a bit cramped. Neighborhood doesn't look very safe, but fortunately nothing happened to us.... more

Chateau d'Eau is the name of a Metro Stop, so it made it easy to find our way around. The hotel is much nicer than the neighborhood it is in. The neighborhood isn't so nice, but the... more

Despite having a formal room reservation for 5 persons (the kids were 8, 5 and 3 at the time) we were told upon arrival that it was 'not possible to add an extra bed'. We finally got it in the end but not easily. Room was very small (had to crawl over the extra bed to reach the -not so... more

This hotel had well mannered and helpful staff and the manager helped me move my luggage to the storage room whilst checking out. The storage was free and it was in a very secure locked room - unlike this other hotel I stayed in in London called "LINDEN HOUSE HOTEL" - never ever stay in that hotel is my advise... more
