Booked this hotel through a friend's recommendation and was utterly disappointed. Shabby, old, tiny room and floor was dirty. Towels were old looking and thin. Service at Reception was horrendous when we arrived. Is that typical service attitude in Paris?? Hmmmm..... Close to Gare du Nord station only if you use the right exit. more

We have stayed many times at this particular Ibis, its closeness to Gard Du Nord and the Metro is ideal for a base in Paris. Stayed here on business for a few days. Overall it felt somewhat tired and shabby. The standard of cleanliness left a lot to be desired. However having said that, it does have a nice atmosphere and the food is very good. It is in a good location too. Close to the rail station and with easy access to the center. more
