This hotel is going through renovations (currently no internet access - business center or gift shop/small food and beverage items). Although they did offer the hotel next door (to use their business center). Oliver at the front desk was wonderful as was Bruno-exceptionally helpful. Free breakfast (not so good). No place to buy a soda in the hotel. It is... more

I booked this hotel because the area was suggested to me and the rpice was good. Well, you get what you pay for. When we firts pulled up there was a homeless man sleeping ont he front step. Then when we walked into the lobby we were greeted with a terrible smell. The desk was manned by one person that... more

My 9 year old daughter and I stayed at the Mercure for two weeks. This hotel has the most wonderful staff. They went above and beyond every time we needed anything. Most of the staff speak English very well, and did not laugh too much at my terrible French. We had a partial view of the Eiffel Tower from our... more

Nice hotel for the money. We were there for 6 nights on our first trip to Paris. The best thing about this hotel is the location, train is next door. The rooms are small like most , but nice. The staff was most helpful, giving us maps etc. and helping in any way they could. We would stay there next... more

I have stayed at this hotel two or three times - always on business. It is predominantly a business rather than tourist location which has suprised me as it is almost at the foot of the Eiffel tower. At the moment the hotel is being refurbished so it is a bit chaotic and is less charming than in the past.... more

We booked directly with the hotel and got our flights with easyjet from Newcastle. Hopped on the RER at the airport after buying a ticket and also two books of 10 metro tickets to use when out and about in Paris. It was really straight forward to get tickets, neither of us are fluent french speakers and the lady at... more

We booked direct with the hotel group online and got a really good room at a really good price. Our room was clean, very comfortable and bigger than expected. The staff are very friendly and helpful and we really enjoyed our stay. We were on a short touring break and there is an underground hotel car park with the entrance... more

Traveled to Paris with family and friends May 2008 to celebrate my mother's 60th birthday. Used Globus Tours to book trip and hotel. Hotel is in a wonderful location, just two blocks from the Eiffel Tower and metro (bus and train). Rooms were very small and I was not ready for the toilet being in a separate room from the... more

We got a great deal for a weekend stay at the hotel - €210 for both of us for both nights. Mind you it was meant to include a city guide book and a bottle of water each which it didn't but at that price they were just trivial things. We really enjoyed our stay. Staff were friendly and helpful... more
