This hotel is in a very good location: two blocks from the Eiffel tower, one block from Les Invalides and some other attractions. There are also many good restaurants within walking distance and even a big grocery store that you can buy gifts for friends and family. totaly not worth this money, only plus is close to eiffle tower, anyway we got room on 6 floor with viev on .....nothing... there is many similar hotels near by for the same price and better comfort more

Hotel is filthy beyond belief. Rooms and cooriders look ancient and filthy. Carpets are stained in all rooms. Bedspread is old and stained as are blankets. Airconditioner didn't work Shower is broken and spins around hitting ceiling. Toilet doesn't flush properly. Elevator is broken, so I had to walk up and down six floors with my luggage and no help.... more

I stayed in May 2009 for 4 days. Very small room, but had a nice little balcony overlooking the Eiffel Tower. The front desk clerks are not helpful at-all and gave me wrong information about buses to take, etc. They didnt help me with the luggage when I arrived and I had to carry my suitcases plus my other items... more

Typical European hotel: small room, small shower, but overall very clean and nice. Staff is very friendly, and the location is terrific. We requested a room on the sixth floor with a balcony and an Eiffel Tower view, and the staff happily accommodated us. Short walk to metro stop and the Eiffel Tower itself. more

The carpet in our room was disgusting a health hazzard. The decor had not seen a lick of paint this millenium and the skirting boards were filthy. We chose the Derby primarily for its location and we couldn't have been happier with our choice. We could see the Eiffel Tower from our room on the 3rd floor.
