Wow what a beautiful hotel right in the heart of the most captivating city in Europe! Everyone should experience a slice of elegance at least once in their lives and this certainly hit the mark for us! Try and get a deal ( in one of the most expensive cities to stay! ). One small downside is that the hotel...

Absolutely impressed by the rooms and the staff. If you can afford it, don't hesitate to book this typical Parisian hotel with "grand siecle" decoration, and located next to the Opera house and the Galleries Lafayette.

Very simple: If you are in the best city of the World, go to the Best Hotel of this city.
A Hotel, where 100 years ago our grandparents and great-grandparents and their families could stayed... It would be a great pleasure to see online the old guest books of this Hotel. This probably would not hurt the world famous discretion...

Found this intercontinental a great spot while visiting Paris. Then location is great and near all tourist sites. The old style decor was most sensual and tastefully decorated. Especially their bathroom decor made us feel like we were in pure elegance. Loved the bathrobes also. The housekeeping was extremely well trained and ready to facilitate our every need. The executive chef...

A landmark hotel in Paris! Right next to the Opéra Garnier and within walking distance of all the 'Grands Magasins' this hotel has great views (ask for an Opera view when booking). One to visit on your next stay in Paris!

My wife and I stayed here between 26th to 29th January 2012. We normally stay on the other side of the city so we tried staying around this area for a change.
The real plus side of this hotel is the location. It is beside all the shops, really good access to the attractions with the Metro station right outside...

Very nic d'hôtel...with comfortable roms. The junior suites are lovely and a very good size.
The only thing weird is that the wcs are not a part of the bathroom. Which is extremely strange, the hotel is walking distance from the Galerie Lafayette. The restaurant in the hotel has terrific food especially the croque Monsieur,

Dear PSJ1234,
Thank you for your post and your very positive comments.
It is indeed quite usual in Europe to have the cabinets seperated from the bathroom and we hope it did not create any discomfort to you..
We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you soon again at the InterContinental Paris Le Grand.
Kindest regards,

We stayed 4 nights at the IC Le Grand in April 2010. We booked using points/certs (so we didn't actually pay anything). We did pay a 20 Euro per day "upgrade" fee to have a balcony room on the top (I think) level.
Overall the hotel is gorgeous. The building is beautiful. The glass atrium is stunning.
The check in...
