We booked this hotel through lastminute.com. It's actually in a nice area but it is about 7 stops from the city centre. The receptionist was friendly when selling tickets for the bateau mouche but not so when I complained about our room. We booked a suite and weren't expecting much but the rooms stank. The bed in the second bedroom... more

My teenage daughter and myself stayed at this hotel for 6 nights the room was small but the bathroom huge. The hotel was much smaller than I imagined we did have one drink at the bar if you could call it that but it was very expensive so I resorted to the small shop up the road for refreshments. The... more

Nice friendly staff, you can walk into the centre of Paris or catch a no. 31 bus, just outside the hotel, very convenient for tired legs! Rooms 17, 27, 37, 47, 57 and 67 are all very small and not to be recommended. We had room 27, very small, but very clean. The bathroom is tiny and you can't turn... more

For a few days in Paris this hotel is ideal. It is located near a Metro station in a traditionally Parisian residential district. There is a lovely patisserie almost next door and a couple of inexpensive eateries a short walk away. There is also a small music hall nearby which seems to have low key musical events on most nights.... more

I'd avoid this hotel, mainly because it was undergoing renovations while we were there, which were pretty noisy from 9am. Also, the clerk was really rude (yes, even by parisienne standards) when we checked in. Although I had called to request a double bed, we were sent up to a twin room and he wasn't much interested in apologising for... more

I moved to this hotel after a week and a half in another hotel on St. Michel Boulevard because of the noise. I loved it. It has AC, I was able to leave the door closed so I would not hear any noise. Breakfast buffet was included in the price and the staff was extremely helpful. Nearest metro is about... more

This is a fantastic, small hotel. The continental breakfast was more American than European. You can't beat the location and the staff went above and beyond to be helpfull. Glenn & Marie Van Acker (13th trip to Paris) more

I stayed in this hotel 17th April 04 for 7 nights. We asked for a non- smoking room, but the curtains and padded headboard reeked, which was disturbing. The window box outside the window was packed with cigarette ends from previous visitors. Good clean bedding and towels every day and plenty of hot water. Which was really good. The bathroom was... more

We stayed in what was described as a suite for four nights from April 2 through 5th of '04. The hotel is not near anything and requires a good walk, or metro or bus ride to anywhere although the neighborhood is good if you want to poke around. The room did have two rooms and two bathrooms as described. However,... more

I stayed 3 nights at the Pavillion Monceau Hotel in January 04. The hotel is located near the Wagram metro stop. It is a bit away from the main tourist zone but I liked the nice residential neighborhood around the hotel and it is only a 5 minute walk to Park Monceau. It is an average 3 star hotel. The... more
