Stayed at the Astruc with my wife for the Easter weekend. The location is quite good, it is only a very short walk from metro Courcelles and even to Arc de Triomphe you can walk in 15 minutes. When we were signed into our room we thought of a bad joke. We got a room on ground level in a... more

This hotel is very small but clean and tidy. From the minute you arrive in reception you will know what I mean, everything cramped!!!. Reception staff very quiet but helpfull. Bedroom small with ensuite even smaller - no room to "swing a cat" as the saying goes!!!!. Make sure and take a receipt of booking with you as they tried... more

3 nights in this small and cozy hotel on an extremely quiet street were a pleasure. Reception was very professional and friendly. The breakfast was expansive with fresh pressed orange juice, yogurt, tartes, coffee or tea aplenty, bread and croissants, butter and jam. If you are running around all day, this might well be important ;-). We had room 45,... more

Ok, let's start by saying this hotel is NOT 3 stars. If anything is 0 stars. It's just a hotel without any stars. The room is ridiculously small and old and ugly. There is not room for real people in there, maybe for dwarfs. the bathroom is just a tub, there is not curtain, no nothing, just a tub hanging... more

I stayed for two nights over a weekend. We paid the full rate of E140 as it was semi-final weekend of the Rugby World Cup. The hotel is very well located in that it is in a quiet street but only a few minutes walk to the Courcelles Metro. It is about a 10 minute walk to the Arc de... more

My wife and I stayed for four nights. Excellent location, friendly and helpful staff. We stayed in a duplex room with terrace. Breakfast was brought up five minutes after we called. Been to many large hotels and really preferred the Eber. Would definitely go back. more

My wife and I stayed at the Eber Monceau for a weekend while in Paris. This place is ideally located for a first visit to this city. Within walking distance is the Arc de Triumphe, the Eiffel Tower, L'Ecole Militaire, Napoleon's Tomb, The Lourve, Champs de Lysee, and some of the coolest arthitecture I have ever seen. The guys at... more

I agree with the review from April 4, 2005, "Do not believe at all in the bad review written in September 2004 from somebody from NY. Of course, rooms are not that spacious, but this is normal in Paris." We had a lovely stay at Hotel Eber and were charmed by the owner and head desk person. They were more... more

Ahhh....Paris... The city of love and romance. is that all there is to such a wonderful place? Will i feel lost if I set foot on european soil without a loved one by myside? I most definitely will not. Paris will be my love for the night. I shall fall in love with it one day at a time. but... more

I spent seven nights in Paris on my own (I'm a woman). I had read Rick Steve's book and tried to reserve the Grand Hotel Leveque but it was booked. I ended up staying at the Eber-Mars Hotel which was listed as a nearby alternative. I had a very pleasant stay and would recommend this hotel to fellow travelers. It... more
