Normally I wouldn't have booked this place after having read all the negative reviews on this website, but I only needed a 1 night stay, and I managed to find a rate for around 60 euro WITH breakfast so I decided to go for it. I decided to keep my expectations low to avoid disappointment. I think the main reason... more

We stayed in the hotel for a mid-week break, tuesday the lift broke & were told it might be fixed next week. we were on the fifth floor so had to use two different flights of stairs as one went up to the fourth the other went down to the first. Staff brilliant at sorting out problems, sadly fabric of... more

I must admit that I wasn't expecting much from this hotel, we booked it late and my only expectation was that it would be clean and friendly. The hotel receptionist or "hotel manager" on duty called "Pascal" looked pregnant and constantly in a bad mood. Somehow I don't think her pregnancy had anything to do with her mood, so I... more

I URGE ANYONE CONSIDERING THIS HOTEL TO READ THIS! I have just returned from a 4 night stay in this hotel in Paris. Having stayed in a Holiday Inn before, in New York, I was fairly confident that this would be a high standard, well run hotel. I could not have been more wrong. Firstly, we arrived very tired at... more

I found the hotel to be clean and comfortable, and the staff were pretty helpful. The hotel is very handy for the subway, which is just a few minutes walk away, and from there, you can get to anywhere in Paris! There's quite a nice cafe over the bridge and to the left (can't remember the name, sorry), and plenty... more

I had to stay at this hotel approximately 12 to 15 times over a 2 year period and regretted it nearly every time. I say that I "had" to stay at this hotel because it was the only one within short distance of my company's office just around the corner. I don't mind staying in a 3 star hotel, and... more

Normally in Paris I stay in 3 star in a Mercure or in an Ibis hotel. This week there was nothing else available so I paid €147 to stay in what amounted to a flea pit. First problem, the lady on the desk seemed to have problems with adding and subtracting so the three people checking out ahead of me... more

Stayed here for a couple of nights on business. Rooms are fine -just about big enough and clean. Good breakfast and friendly staff. The big PLUS for this hotel is the "new" metro line which goes from 100 metres away under the river and straight into Chatelet - a pivotal station for both metro and RER to the airports. Small... more

I have stayed at this hotel on several occasions, most recently in September of 2006. It is certainly not a charming Parisian hotel. However, if you are jet-lagged, after a transatlantic flight, and need a real good nights' sleep - this is the place. The rooms are clean, and the mattress is firm. Also, you have air conditioning, double glazed... more

We were booked at this hotel through a travel company, and after I read the reviews here about the hotel, I didn't want to stay. I tried to get the travel company to change our group to another hotel, but they said it was too late. Well, just as your reviewers stated, the staff was unfriendly (one worker told me... more
