The room was quite big and the beds were good and clean. The problem is that the bathroom although relatively clean was smelling and had signs of decay... Hotel breakfast was expensive (18Euros) even though kids were for free, but when we came the few personals could not cope with the amount of guests and there were severe shortage on... More

Stayed 2 nights in this hotel, my room was facing the streets and even at 10 at night you can still hear the busy traffic outside your window. One thing about European hotels is that all the lifts are really small. Quite average, enough just to rest your body.

... If they wake you up early in the morning with the sound of a drilling machine and a hammer, they have really no respect to the guest. The (paper) walls of the (no very clean) bathroom were already falling, I hope they fix them soon (they have obviously equipment to repair things) or maybe you won' t find walls... More

Recently stayed here for 3 nights on a business trip. The rooms are spacious, well equipped and comfortable. Downside is that there is no air conditonning so it gets very hot at night for sleeping. It is possible to open the windows for fresh air, although the noise from the nearby highway is quite disturbing. The hotel is well located... More

There are more interesting places to stay in Paris, but if you have to be in La Villette - for me it was a business-dictated location - this isn't bad. The staff were friendly and efficient, and my bed was very comfortable. I'd have liked a better sited telephone and electric sockets and internet access was variable, so if these... More

It's a very basic hotel, nothing fancy, they use paper cups in room and plastic cups in bathroom.Carpet is a bit dirty, kinda like a motel. Reception staffs are nice and helpful. Gym is very small and I didn't see pool. There are supermarket and lots of restaurants around, so it's convenient enough, but it's not the nicest neighborhood though.... More

this used to be a Holiday Inn and was abit run-down, but I used it because it was close to a client and has a good under-ground carpark, essential with a car full of tools & spare parts. Mercure have maintained all the good items and are improving too, re-openning the restaurant with a reasonable menu and they had some... More

This hotel might be a bit far out for some but was very handy for us as we were visiting a music festival at the grande halle across the road. It was easy to get to on the metro, and a walk in the park across from the hotel revealed a lovely walkway, science museum and canal. We had a... More

Room is extremely large clean but a bit dilipitated especially the carpet. Other than that you are on your own. We barely saw any staff around. It is suited for DIY hotel... First time traveller should avoid here.

Hotel is in good enough shape. Its just a pity that little things (easily fixed) let them down. Check in staff were a bit rude and seemed to have a lot of attitude (maybe having a bad day). But the front desk staff the follwong morning could not have been nicer. Were told that internet was free but the connection... More
