We stayed here for 4 nights while on our Paris trip. What attracted us was the free internet. The staff was very polite. The room was comfortable - the decor was a tad tacky - but we got a good deal, so you get what you pay for. The free breakfast was great - much better than american continental breakfasts.... more

If you just want a place to sleep in then this hotel may suit your needs. Don't expect good service from the receptionist/s. We stayed for one week in September. We were given room 605. It is on the first floor. A large room with a king bed, nice size modern bathroom with tub. The room was tastefully decorated. The bonus of this room is it has it's own courtyard. The only room in the hotel with an outdoor space, it was great.... more

I have stayed at the Sydney Opera Hotel in August 2009. I often stay in Paris hotels when visiting family. The hotel is very clean. The staff helpful. The breakfast is plentiful with pastries, cereals, yogurt, hard boiled eggs etc. The rooms are small but well kept. I found the price to be a bit expensive for what you get.... more

Really could not be happier with this hotel. It provides everything a traveler needs except a swimming pool (smile)! Attractive decor, nice & helpful desk staff, FREE WIFI that worked in rooms, too. Fantastic hotel, 200m from Gare St. Lazare which connects (via. line '14') to Metro Chatelet and Gare du Nord (i.e. easy access to the RER 'B' line which services CDG airport). Hotel great. What a great little hotel. Paris is known for tiny rooms but we were pleasantly surprised as we had two rooms. The lift is the tiniest I have ever seen and it took two trips to get the luggage up but this quaintness appealed to us. The spiral staircase and Parisian decor gave it real character.
